Please try the following:
- Reset your modem. On the back of the modem where
the cables are located, there is a small hole labeled "Reset". Insert
an unfolded paperclip (or toothpick or something similar in size) for 2-3
seconds. Wait 1-2 minutes. Retest your phone service.
- Connect one telephone handset directly into the Telephone 1 port on the back of
the modem. You will need to disconnect the telephone cord already
connected to that port to try this. Check to see if the issue is resolved.
If
the issue is not resolved, please use an alternate phone line (cell phone,
neighbor's phone, etc) to contact Customer Support at 1-866-496-9669. Representatives
are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
